Martech Training Courses
Martech training courses in Malaysia: digital skills for marketing teams, from search and content to analytics and web operations. Each course is one step in the digital transformation of your marketing work, and your people practise it on their own website, campaigns and data.
Kognifi assesses the work, so you can see the competence. We run each course in-house for your team or as a public class in Petaling Jaya. Each course is an HRD Corp (HRDF) claimable course for HRD Corp registered employers.
Who these martech courses are for
- Marketing, product, content and communications teams who run the website, the campaigns and the content.
- Digital marketing executives, web administrators and IT support staff who manage websites in-house.
- Sales and business development teams, and business owners, who need more qualified leads.
These courses are not software demos. Each one is a working session on your own website, campaigns and data.

How the courses fit together
Take the courses in this order. Each one builds on the one before it.
- Content Marketing: the content plan. Content marketing fundamentals, content for each audience, and the digital tools and analytics that measure it.
- SEO Copywriting: the content that ranks. Search engine results pages (SERPs), keyword research, the content strategy with content elements, and the SEO article structure.
- Digital Marketing: the strategy and the campaign. Digital marketing strategy, campaigns on different media platforms, traffic quality with analytics, and leads performance with analytics.
- WordPress for Digital Marketing: the website that carries the content. WordPress set-up, posts, pages and forms for SEO, landing pages for conversion (CRO), and site performance and security.
- Advanced WebOps: the website behind the marketing. Domain and DNS, network performance and security, staging and deployment, and daily web operations. A technical course.
These courses are steps 5 to 8 of the Marketing career path.
How each course runs
- Each participant brings a real case from work: a customer, a product, a team or a proposal.
- The trainer shows one tool at a time. Then each participant uses the tool on that case.
- The trainer gives feedback on the work during the class.
- At the end, the trainer assesses the work against a rubric. You can see what each person can now do.
Participants leave with work that they can use on the next working day.
What your team brings back to work
- Tools that each participant used in class on their own website, campaign or data.
- An assessed piece of work for each participant.
- The Kognifi Certificate of Competency for participants who pass 80% of the assessment.
Three ways to run a course
- Public class: at the Kognifi Training Center in Petaling Jaya. See the dates and the fee above.
- In-house: for your team only, at your office in any state, or online with MS Teams or Zoom. Get a quote.
- Private coaching: one-to-one, for a manager or a key team member.
Questions about martech training
Are these courses HRD Corp (HRDF) claimable?
Yes. Each course is an HRD Corp claimable course for HRD Corp registered employers.
How long is each course?
Two days.
Can you run a course for our team only?
Yes. Ask for a quote for in-house training.
Which course comes first?
Start with Content Marketing to plan content for each audience, then SEO Copywriting for content that ranks. Then run and measure campaigns in Digital Marketing, build the website in WordPress for Digital Marketing, and take Advanced WebOps when your team manages its own websites.
Do participants need technical skills?
Content Marketing, SEO Copywriting and Digital Marketing need no coding. WordPress for Digital Marketing is hands-on work on a WordPress site. Advanced WebOps is a technical course with a high cognitive load for people who are new to websites or internet routing.
Do participants use AI tools?
Yes, but only for a draft. In SEO Copywriting, each participant writes the brief first. Then they use ChatGPT, and then they edit the draft.
