This module introduces participants to the core principles of effective business communication, helping them understand the communication process, eliminate ambiguity and align messages with intent and audience.

- Communication process model (sender, message, medium, receiver, feedback)
- Types of business communication: verbal, non-verbal, written and visual
- Common communication breakdowns in corporate settings
- The 3 Cs: Clarity, Confidence, Consistency
- Common blockers: jargon, filler words, vague phrasing
- How ambiguity creates confusion, conflict or inaction Aligning communication to purpose and audience

Module 2 · Engaging Through Listening, Non-Verbal Skills and Emotional Intelligence
Participants will identify their communication strengths and weaknesses through several reflective exercises. Participants will identify and discuss barriers to communication. They will also perform a series of exercises to help them develop a habit of mindfulness.
